Veronica Allen-Ettinger
Owner & Founder, Family Bridge Jamaica
Veronica Allen-Ettinger is a Jamaican national originally from St. James and the Owner & Founder of Family Bridge Jamaica. Now based in St. Ann, she brings deep personal ties to Jamaica together with the local knowledge and practical mindset needed to help families coordinate everyday responsibilities.
Whether that means accompanying someone to an appointment, running an errand, organizing a service, making a call or simply spending time with someone who could use the company, Veronica finds genuine satisfaction in making a person’s day a little easier and less stressful.
Her background includes years of customer service, experience in the entertainment industry, certified event planning, a Certificate in Business and Technology, and certification as a phlebotomist. Together, those experiences strengthened her communication, organization, logistics and ability to work calmly in professional environments. Family Bridge itself remains a non-medical concierge and companion-support service.
Where Family Bridge Began
Kindness received became a commitment to help others.
When Veronica was younger and her mother could not afford to send her to school, a woman from her church stepped in to help. That act of kindness stayed with her and helped shape a belief in showing up for people when a practical need can make life difficult.
After Hurricane Melissa, Veronica found herself helping family members and close friends manage the things they needed to get done. The experience reinforced an important truth: during a crisis the need for an extra pair of hands is obvious, but dependable local help is just as valuable in everyday life.
The need for dependable local help does not disappear when the emergency is over.
Bridging the Distance
Everyday needs can feel much bigger from thousands of miles away.
A parent may need groceries, a prescription collected, company at an appointment, a household service coordinated or simply someone dependable to check in. From overseas, even straightforward responsibilities can become difficult to manage.
Family Bridge Jamaica was created to be a trusted local connection for those moments. When an authorized family member is involved, communication is part of the service: relevant updates, next steps and practical follow-up should help the family understand what happened as though they had been able to be there themselves.

Availability before commitment
A request is not confirmed until timing, location, scope and current availability have been reviewed. Family Bridge does not accept work it cannot support responsibly.

We believe families deserve clear, honest information about who they are trusting. Credentials, records and affiliations are published only when they are current, accurate and supportable.

Trust should be backed by facts.
Family Bridge Jamaica is registered with the Companies Office of Jamaica. Family Bridge publishes professional credentials, records and community information only when they can be stated accurately and supported.
Certified CPR & First Aid
Veronica maintains current CPR & First Aid certification through an accredited program. Her certification was renewed in August 2026 and is valid for two years. Verification of the credential is available.
Police & driving records
Veronica maintains current, verifiable clean police and driving records. The vehicle used for applicable incidental transportation is insured. Transportation remains incidental to accepted concierge services, not a standalone taxi or PPV service.
Certified Phlebotomist
Veronica is a Certified Phlebotomist and is familiar with professional healthcare environments. Family Bridge does not provide medical, nursing or clinical services.
Certified Event Planner
Event-planning certification supports the organization, scheduling, vendor coordination and logistical follow-through required in concierge work.
Business & Technology
A Certificate in Business and Technology supports Veronica’s administrative, organizational and business-management foundation.
Community involvement
Veronica serves on her church board and several committees, reflecting longstanding participation and responsibility within her community.
Independence Matters
Not every senior needs a caregiver.
Veronica has always enjoyed spending time with people older than herself and values their stories, knowledge and life experience. She also believes getting older should not automatically mean giving up independence.
Sometimes what is needed is much simpler: companionship, accompaniment or a dependable person nearby who can help with practical tasks when needed. The objective is to make everyday life easier while respecting each person’s choices, routines, privacy and independence.
For Returning Residents
Less time dealing with the little things. More time enjoying being home.
Family Bridge Jamaica is also for people who have returned home after living overseas and would appreciate a dependable local hand with everyday responsibilities. Veronica can help with errands, local offices and practical tasks, and can also draw on an extensive and growing network of contacts—or help make a new connection—when you need a contractor, licensed private driver, tour operator, plumber, medical or dental provider, or another suitable local service.
The Person Behind Family Bridge
For Veronica, family has never been limited to biology.
Outside of work, Veronica enjoys reading, talking with friends, attending church, walking, being outdoors and spending time at the beach. She is also the proud dog mom of Pretzel, her loving and playful Shiranian.
Although she does not have biological children, Veronica has helped raise and care for many children over the years. That broad understanding of family is part of what Family Bridge Jamaica means to her: caring about someone does not require sharing their last name.

We confirm who is authorized to request services, make decisions and receive information before acting on sensitive instructions.
Documented scope
Suitable requests should have clear instructions, defined limits and an agreed outcome before service is delivered.
Privacy & discretion
Personal information should be collected only when it is relevant to the approved request and shared only with appropriate authorized parties.
Money & purchases
Client funds or purchase instructions must use explicit spending authority, agreed limits and appropriate receipts or documentation.
Family communication
Where an authorized family contact is involved, updates should follow the agreed communication arrangement while respecting the client’s permissions and privacy.
Emergency boundaries
Family Bridge does not replace emergency services and should not be used as the primary response channel for immediate threats to life, safety or health.
